Google Keyword Planner & Google's forecast
I posted this question on Reddit.
So I would like to set the same here, I am interested in your experience.
How accurate do you think Google Keyword Planner is?
Are these predictions (clicks and impressions) of Google's forecast roughly true or are they actually higher or lower?
google shows google's metrics, why low or high!
@admin Thanks for the reply, I appreciate your work, you inspired me to start something of my own.
Google metrics is google metrics, and that's fine.
But if you make a forecast based on your keywords and daily budget, it will give you a prediction of how many impressions and clicks you can expect for the daily budget you set.
My question is how realistic is google with these predictions?
are these numbers achievable in practice, or are they much lower or higher (impressions and clicks)?
start an e-shop and sell shoes in the USA. And do a google forecast for google ads.
You get information on how many ad impressions it will have and how many clicks it will have.
The question is how realistic and achievable is this data?
P.S. I also put a picture below so you have a clear idea of what I’m talking about.
@dissi992: Sorry, I thought Google keyword planner metrics like CPC and search volume. sorry, it's my fault.
clicks and impressions are calculated based on the CPC of the target keyword, the paid competition.
you can see the word "can" in the sentence stated by google.
"YOUR PLAN CAN REACH..."
so it is an estimation, but usually, it is something close to this. because maybe someone starts a campaign the next day targeting the same keyword, CPC and competition will change.
@admin Thank you for your reply,
I understand now.
CPC seems to be more important and the whole marketing campaign depends on it.
Thanks, it was a great help
I think google keyword planner helps to find better keywords for websites. If you want to get more keyword ideas you should use ubbesuggest, ahref, semrush, etc. But Google keyword planner helps you to get accurate information.
